From power tongs and power packs to OCTG analysis systems and bucking units, ITS offers a full range of tubular equipment and professional personnel to meet the highest levels of performance.
All power tongs are fitted with door safety inter-locks and tubing tongs with integral back-up systems to guarantee optimum connections. We offer specialised power tong systems such as the Chrome-Tek™ jaw system - a CRA running system that offers handling and make-up without leaving die marks. In addition, our drillpipe tongs can produce up to 100,000 lbs/ft of torque to ensure that drill strings run smooth and fast.
Our purpose-built bucking units can handle all tubular sizes, types and torques from an expensive completion component in an exotic CRA material to a regular buttress carbon steel. Our Type III bucking unit, for example, is capable of offset make-up which is particularly useful for dual completions or certain types of gas lift mandrels. Furthermore all of our bucking units can be dressed with the Chrome-Tek system to guarantee reduced marking of tubular and completion components.
Since we believe regular and ongoing analysis is the key to ensuring joint integrity for all of our tubular products, we offer OCTG analysis systems designed to control, analyse and record the make-up of premium and API tubular connections. By displaying precise, real-time make-up information, with colour graphics set to operator specifications, our analysis systems can help prevent or quickly correct under or over torquing.
